DHAKA: Philippine troops killed, seven more Muslim rebels in gunbattles on the outskirts of the coast of a southern town, who have been deleting them bodies, bombs, weapons and possible the scores of people hostage fall after a three-week confrontation with insurgents, held.
Army and special police forces killed six Moro National Liberation Front rebels who were hiding in a house in Zamboanga city of Santa Barbara community on Sunday and refused to surrender.
An another rebel was killed by troops in a clash on Saturday in the nearby Rio Hondo, one of the five municipalities of almost 500 insurgents on September 9, Lieutenant Colonel Ramon Zagala said military spokesman occupied.
